My little birdie girl is in her third week of molting. She is doing fantastic! Besides being a little naughty; she is handling the molting well. She has been taking a bath everyday and I have been leaving the heater on, so it stays warmer. I can imagine that she feels itchy and nervous. Oh noos! Her feathers do seem to be getting a little more orange so, I think the special diet is working. I have also been giving her more kale and treat seeds just to make her feel a little better. I will say that she is learning a lot and started jumping on my finger outside her cage door. It’s only for a second but it’s progress! I will post more pictures when the molting is almost over…
