I just took a typing test and I am now typing 41 WPM! I am so excited … I just finished the beginner and intermediate section. Then, I went back to beginner and just focused on the first three lessons that teach you where the keys are. I will be typing 60 WPM in no time!

A Yummy Snack!

I just made an awesome little snack. Get baby carrots that are peeled and washed. I use lite ranch dressing and mix Cholula hot sauce to taste (I like the chipotle flave). This gives the ranch a Smokey taste. Enjoy!

It will be a Rice Rocket!

So, my little Mazda MX-5 roadster is about to become the Pigtails Rice Rocket. We have officially worked out a deal with TDR out of Florida (http://www.tdr-mx5tuning.com/) to purchase one of their first TDR2 turbocharger packages. The package we have chosen will include the following:
GTX2863 Turbo
Tial .86 Housing
Tial MVS 38mm Wastegate
Tial QRS BoV
All Hoses and Tubes
All fittings for Oil and Coolant
Intercooler
650cc Bosh Injectors
Swaintech Coating for Down-Pipe
Lava Jacket for Turbine Housing
Battery Relocation Kit
TDR ECU Tune and ECUTech License

Plus, the following kit to have a quick conversion back to stock to pass California Smog:
Mini CAI
4AN to 8AN bypass fitting (Used to bypass the turbo so you do not have to drain the oil)
3/8 barb connector (Used to join the two coolant hoses from the turbo)

Finally, we have ordered an upgraded exhaust to allow the turbo to breath at its full potential:
Enthuza 3” midpipe with steel cat and resonator
Enthusa 3” dual racer exhaust

We technically have been on the list for the TDR2 for a few weeks while Jay from TDR has been finalizing and testing the design. However, we have officially placed the 50% down payment as of today. As usual, I will post updates to include the installation as well as Dyno charts pre and post installation. We are looking to get 300+ Wheel Horsepower from this kit. ;-D

After the turbo kit, the last modifications would be the suspension, clutch and flywheel. My little rocket will be able to race and hold it’s own! I plan on taking driving classes because the last thing I want to do is have the boost of power and not use it correctly (then crash)… oh noos!

I Can’t Believe This…

But it’s true; this is a rainbow colored tree! I saw this on Facebook from the page I Fucking Love Science… 

The most colorful tree in the world: The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree (Eucalyptus deglupta).
The Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta) or ‘MINDANAO GUM’ looks almost like it’s been spray painted, but the up to 70-m tall tree is colored this way completely naturally. Its bark can take on a yellow, green, orange and even purple shading.
If you want to spot a Rainbow Eucalyptus tree live and in all its glory, you’ll have to travel to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea or Philippines where the tree grows natively. However, it has been introduced worldwide as an exotic wood in South America, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, China and other countries.

A New Moment in History!

Welcome Pope Francis I ! It was awesome to see history in the making as the Catholic church selected a new Pope. Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio from Argentina takes the name Pope Francis I . This is one of those moments when people ask, “where were you when you heard/saw this news?” I was watching the news as it happened… it would have been cool to be there in person but at least I got to witness the announcement.

Rise of the Guardians!

I LOVE this movie! I give a 5 out of 5 popcorns for sure. The story is great with all the fairytale classics… even Jack Frost. They all save the day from the boogie man. The graphics where amazing! The cast was perfect and I love Hugh Jackman as the Easter Bunny.

A New Flavor

I tried the lemon sorbet flavor at Baskin Robbin’s… 😀 It is fat free which is awesome! Don’t worry it is not too strong in lemonie flavor or too sweet. Tomorrow we start eating better and exercising again which means no ice cream for a little bit! 😐

The Geeat and Powerful OZ!

I just saw OZ today in IMAX 3D… it was amazing! The story was cute and the special effects were so cool. I give this a 5 out of 5 popcorns. I think the cast was perfect. I love Mila Kuniz; she was perfect as Theodora. This might sound strange but the opening credits where well designed. I just want to know what happened to the red ruby slippers… lol

Squeak!

My little Birdy has been doing something new… she makes these squeak sounds when she plays. They are very soft “eek” sounds and she does it when she is excited. I have been touching her more and more when we play. She is still learning how to jump on my finger but she does give kisses. She is just like any other pet… it takes time for training and trust. However, for a little bird… she does amazing!

Wreck it Ralph!

This Disney movie is so awesome! I just saw it ONDEMAND from Comcast. It kind of has the -child like feeling- of Toy Story; with the whole toys coming to life… except it is video games! The story gets even better because we end up in a “candy-land” game that has racing. Since, I am into making cars go fast this was a cute movie. I am addicted to a song found in the movie, when Ralph helps his friend learn to drive… the song is called “Shut up and drive” by Rihanna. There is also a lot of cute humor and some sad moments too. This movie starts out a little slow but I like it… I would give this movie a 4 out of 5 pop corns!
